[ClermontFLReUseIt] Wanted: Girls Ministries / Missionettes Items - Minneola Area & Ocoee Area

I'm the coordinator for this ministry for my church, and we're planning a huge event with decorations, balloons, sparkly pink things, etc.

We are in particular need of badges, charms, pins, and other items for Rainbows, Prims, Stars and Friends clubs. Vintage items are fine, as they can be used to decorate the walls and I have a particular interest in those since some of our people actually attended as children. Spanish materials are also excellent. (A Rainbows teacher manual would be a godsend.)

If you have pretty decorations, frilly items, etc, geared towards girls between 5 and 15 years of age, we'll take them, too! Of course, where there are girls, there will be Royal Rangers, so we can take any of those items, as well. (My son is heavily involved in that group. He'd love it.)

Wishlist includes: iron-on transfer paper, craft supplies, a popcorn or cotton candy machine, and anything else you think might make this day better for my awesome girls. Thanks.

We live in one city, go to church in another. Therefore, we really can pick up items in either location.

Graham Wicker Chandelier

Chandeliers are supposed to be great and to show greatness. They are meant to be placed in big rooms where everyone can admire them. They usually have more light bulbs and that is why they are used in large areas and it would also be a pity to use them in small rooms where they take all the view and air. Anyway, this particular Graham Wicker Chandelier is great and it should be valued. It deserves to be admired for the big curvy arms and the nice and elegant metal threads that hang underneath, making it more interesting as design. But it is not only the bronze finish and the impressive size that you immediately notice about this chandelier: I think you will immediately notice the wicker lamp shades.

I know there is the possibility to choose fabric ones that are more transparent and more normal, but I also think the wicker shades are by far more interesting in design. They filter the light the light bulbs cast and it shows in beams in an interesting attractive way. Besides, it is more natural and people have the tendency to follow the new trend of coming back to nature, of using natural stuff in everything around them. The chandelier is a bit heavy since it is made of iron, but once the hardware is properly installed, there should be no problems. It is available for $179 from Pottery Barn.

White Royal Armchair

Every little boy or girl reads or listens to stories and dreams about being royalty. All the girls are princesses in their games and the boys are princes. Even when they grow up, the dream never disappears: why do you think all brides and all the girls who win a beauty pageant have to wear a tiara as a sign of glory? Decorating A Stylish & Comfy Movie Room

Decorating a movie room can be a lot of fun. It’s the grown-up version of a child’s playroom. Home theaters are great for family get-togethers and just a place to spend a little extra time together, it’s a place to store all your electronic gadgets and sometimes even have a little personal relaxation to yourself. Of course we want even your movie room to have style and pizzazz, but there are certain elements you must consider when decorating a movie room to amp of the relaxation and still breathe life into the space. So, here are some tips to get your vision and decorating started.

1. Decide on your vision.

Every space needs a vision and a theme. Whether you decide to go modern, eclectic or vintage movie madness …. think about what you’d like to have as a finished product before you start to decorate!

2. Paint your walls.

Because a movie room is all about rest and relaxation, you want your walls painted. Bright whites and other flashier shades aren’t conducive to a soothing place to spend your down-time. Try painting the walls darker shades of grey, blues and or even purples for optimum movie viewing quality.

3. Organization lessens chaos.

You must find a way to organize your movies, CDs, games … everything! There are a lot of different, fun ways to do this but keeping your movie room neat and tidy is an absolute must.

4. Have fun with accents.

Use director’s chairs, old film cameras and popcorn machines to play up the movie feel. There are so many different ways to incorporate these accents. Just use your imagination and have fun with it all.

5. Don’t forget the movie posters.

You can always find a movie poster to fit your theme. Use vintage, classic films for a vintage theme. Use blockbuster action films for a more masculine feel. Just don’t forget to add a poster or two in the mix!

6. Add a lot of comfies.

Blankets, floor pillows, throws and more! Add a lot of cushion and comfort to your space. Napping, cuddling and a lot of resting will be done in this room so make sure you’ve provided a lot of comfies to the room.

7. Black-out curtains are key.

For ample viewing, you must get some type of black-out curtain to put over the windows. So many times we watch movies at home and light bursts in the TV ruin the view!

8. Seat everyone.

Really think about how you want your seating to be and think about how many people need to have a seat. Make sure you aren’t cluttering your space either, then all style is lost. Find furniture that can seat a lot of people comfortable .. with cup holders is always nice too!

Black Fluffy Carpet from Modani

People first used animal skins as rugs in order to keep the cave floor warm and their feet protected. And it felt great. Animal skins were soft and warm, nice to touch, too. I guess after such a long time we still keep a bit of that primary feeling within us because everybody likes a soft fluffy rug even if it is now placed on the floor of a luxury house or flat. However, these rugs are now made of different materials like nylon in order to be cleaned easily and also to resist in any kind of traffic in the house without getting worn or having the hair fall like animal skins did.

Castles have always reminded me of stories of adventures with princesses and brave knights. They make you enter this magic world of fairy-tales where the good tries to win its battle with the evil. Castles create also a romantic atmosphere for a love story and seems to be the perfect place for a romance. Those of you who are interested in such a place will be definitely attracted by the following offer.

Castello di Scerpena, a medieval castle located in Tuscany, Italy is for sale for € 16, 500, 00.It is a luxury property, situated on a hill which offers great views of the country side surroundings. Its origins go back to 12^th century and although it is a restored place here you can still see antique furnishings, vaulted ceilings and frescoed bedrooms. [ClermontFLReUseIt] Offer: Toaster same location as mixer, 4 corners one block south of 192 off 27

I finally was given a new toaster, so I have this one I got a few years ago. It doesn't really toast but one setting, but it is good when you have nothing. I bought it second hand and it has worked for me. I will sweeten the pot and throw in a mouse pad that I don't need. Those things are like rabbits, they are everywhere. It's just a Dell pad, but will give it with the other stuff. Maybe someone can use it. Easy pick up today anytime. Will set at front door for whomever, just email me. Thanks and God Bless
